Hand Gliding at Woodhead
Whilst driving over the Woodhead Pass, we came across a group of Hand Gliding enthusiasts enjoying the currents over the hills.
The Huddersfield Canal
At the end of April, we spent some time around the area of Holmfirth in the Pennines. Whilst we were there, we spent a day walking some of the Huddersfield Canal. The following images were taken from the Standege Tunnel to the town of Marsden.

Whisby Nature Reserve
On Boxing Day 2010, we visited Whisby in Lincolnshire, where the last snow was still on the ground. Some of the lakes that are normally full of birds were frozen. The images below show a couple of views of Whisby, to view some more click on the Flickr photostream link.
